Artworks inspired by Mother Nature and the divine feminine. I'm interested in the quiet universal energy of being that exists in and around us all. Across cultures and mythologies, the divine feminine is defined by the power of creation, intuition, nurturing and healing.

Calm, celebrate and inspire....

A lifetime of creative practice and here we are...

With a textile dyeing and Fashion Design HND background plus many years of attending and some teaching at various local community arts and crafts classes, I've realised I'm an individual who is simply happiest when making things.

I enjoy utilising all manner of different artistic methods and techniques, all unified under the divine feminine parasol of inspiration from Mother Nature herself.  Be that through working with oil paints on linen panels and canvases, creating functional and decorative ceramics, or writing and illustrating my own unique range of Herstory focused colouring books. I find there is a calm healing quality to the practice of focusing my attention on the things I find beauty in, I enjoy celebrating the good and being inspired by the great, and feel grateful for being able to witness them.

Embracing ceramics to create functional and decorative items which explore themes centered on celebrating Mother Nature and the divine feminine. Subjects include the iconic Brontë sisters and the natural landscapes and wildflowers of Yorkshire. I'm proud to showcase examples of my artworks in some wonderfully supportive gallery shops around the UK.

I enjoy using colour and subjects in an attempt to capture an essence of the calmness and stillness of being when you really stop and take notice and appreciate the beauty in the simple things around us. My recent series of wildflower paintings does just that by paying tribute to these underrated essential pollinators, native to meadows, moors, and woodlands — now increasingly endangered and more often marginalised to roadside verges. This collection reflects my commitment to capturing the dichotomy of these fleetingly fragile yet remarkably hardy blooms against a backdrop of erosion to their natural spaces.

Range of unique ‘Herstory’ colouring books, a thoughtfully crafted collection that blends education about historical and contemporary female heroines with positive mindfulness practice. Designed to inspire calmness and celebration through the meditative art of colouring, this unique series reflects a passion for learning and uplifting myself and others. I'm incredibly grateful for the support I've received over the years as an independent author/illustrator from many fabulous award-winning  indie bookshops as well as large prestigious national book stores and numerous wonderful museums, galleries and cathedral gift shops based all around the UK.
